Occupational Health and Safety Policy
Teksan Generator believes that the human factor is its most important asset, and
aims to reduce all kinds of losses to minimum by creating a safer and healthier
work medium for its employees.
The following principles were set for achieving the policy summarized above.
- Respecting all national laws and regulations governing occupational health and
safety; complying with the applicable international standards.
- Employing a systematic approach to take occupational health and safety risks under
control; employing a continuous improvement principle to ensure continuous improvement
of occupational health and safety issues.
- Reviewing the effects of new products, facilities and processes on occupational
health and safety at the project process.
- Taking all risks under control at source through involvement of all of the employees
to reduce accidents and sickness to minimum.
- Developing methods to reduce to minimum material and moral losses which might
be caused by accidents or emergencies.
- Training the employees on occupational health and safety issues to achieve continuous
improvement; providing the employees with equipment needed for said issues.
